Hello my Peeps,
Sometimes hope doesn't thrive too well. Sometimes, it just hangs on by a thread.
That's how I've been feeling when it comes to the printing company I chose to work with for Rewriting Adam. I've talked a bit about the issues I had with the first printing. Well, now I've been waiting for the re-printing for over a month. Over a month? Really? Yes! Like I said, hope is hanging by a thread.
I was hoping to say "The wait is over!" in this month's newsletter. But alas, I'm asking you all, as my faithful followers, to continue waiting. I'm SO SORRY for all this delay. Believe me, I'd go and print the books myself if I could.
Keeping up my motivation has been difficult, to say the least. BUT GOD continues to remain faithful and give me glimpses of why He wants me to keep going. For example, another Canadian author reviewed my book on her YouTube channel, Pen to Paper, AND she gave it Five Stars! Here's the link to that review, if you're interested (Warning: spoiler alert):
Thanks, Leah, for that great review AND for the recent interview, which will be available next week on her YouTube channel.
Also, THIS happened a couple of days ago:
Yes, that's right. My novel was in the top 100 on Amazon in the category of Christian Science Fiction! That's crazy to me, but also so exciting. Again, that's ALL GOD!
In all of this, I'm reminded again of the theme of novel: HOPE for the hopeless and the never-ending opportunity for relationships to find mercy and healing. So much hope for today's broken world. Again, I really sense a battle outside of the physical world surrounding this book. But I also see how God is answering prayer and giving me opportunities to glorify Him. So, if you've been praying, thanks so much. Please continue to do so. I need it. My book needs it!
Just a reminder that the world needs the HOPE message of this book.
Thanks again for being here. My publisher, @Siretona.com, and I have been working hard to get this book out to you. So, thanks for faithfully showing up and following me with an interest to read my novel. I appreciate each and every one of you!
I'd also LOVE to hear from you. How're you doing? What're you doing? I'm here, ready to listen, because we need each other. There's hope in that too!
SOLI DEO GLORIA,
Connie
Hello my Peeps, How are each of you doing? It's hard to believe that we are now into autumn and that October is just around the corner. I don't know about where you live, but here in Edmonton, a bit of summer sunshine has returned and for that, I am thankful. I'm also thankful that I have some MORE BIG NEWS coming your way in this newsletter! But other updates first. At the beginning of September, my translator hubby and I took a break from our regular routine and headed out to the Chilcotin...
Hello my Peeps, BIG NEWS!!! I've got some big news to share with you. It's something that happened just a few weeks ago. But before I get to that, I better catch you up on other things in my life. EIGHT MONTHS! That's how long it's been since I sent out a newsletter update. I'm so sorry for not touching base on a monthly basis like I said I would. I've thought about it, knowing I needed to say hello to you, my faithful followers, but I just haven't been able to find the inertia. For the first...
